How do I create an LLC Operating Agreement?
An LLC Operating Agreement is the core agreement you'll need to create if you opt for an LLC as your corporate entity. It sets out who the owners are, how much each person owns, how ownership can change, and how the LLC will be operated.
Because a corporate entity is a separate "person" in the eyes of the law, you can think of an LLC Operating Agreement as an agreement between the LLC, its owners, and anyone who agrees to serve as a manager.
In the future, we intend to add an LLC Operating Agreement to the Plainly Legal™ Agreement Generator, but it is one of the most complicated agreement types to code into software.
In the meantime, you can click here to download a Google Doc template you can use to create an LLC Operating Agreement.
