Step 1: Login and Accept The Terms of Use

We have a Knowledge Base article in the Account Settings section that walks through general options and procedures for logging in, but things will be a bit different the first time you log in. There are a couple of ways to log in.

Request a login link on the confirmation page

After you purchase your Plainly Legal™ subscription, you'll be redirected to a thank you page that looks like this:

Once you get to this page, focus on the "Log in to get started" section and click the Send Login Link button.

When you click that button, the system will send you an email with the subject line: "Here is your sign-in link!" Open that email and click the "Sign In" button:

Clicking that button will open Plainly Legal™ in your default web browser and log you in.

Note: The sign-in link you'll receive via email is only valid for a limited period of time, so you can only use the link on the confirmation page if you are ready to log in right away. Otherwise, you can wait and visit the Plainly Legal™ site at any time to get your login link.

Request a login link directly from the Plainly Legal™ app

If you aren't ready to log in immediately after purchasing a subscription, you can always log in later. Here is how to do that:

First, go to app.plainlylegal.com. (We recommend bookmarking that page!)

From there, click on one of the links to log in:

Clicking on either of those links will take you to a Sign-in page. Enter the email address you used to sign up for Plainly Legal™, and click Continue. When you do that, our system will send you an email with the subject line: "Here is your sign-in link!" Open that email and click the "Sign In" button:

Clicking that button will open Plainly Legal™ in your default web browser and log you in.

Accept the Plainly Legal™ Terms & Conditions

The first time you log in, our system will prompt you to read and agree to the software terms of service:

Once you check the box and click the button to accept the terms, you are fully logged in and ready to work!
